While I doubt it was intentional (subject omissions are a HUGE headache), it's misleading and undercuts both the bond b/w the chars & emotional impact of the episode. I hope @HIDIVEofficial & @SentaiFilmworks fix it for the site or at least the physical release.

I know it's ambiguous in the original Japanese (the subject's omitted entirely), but by tossing in "this" you're narrowing that ambiguity. People say "this" about events and inanimate objects, NOT other people.

What about "This really is love" or "I really am in love"?
